How we handle your data

This covers what happens to what you send through the application form on this page.

Who holds it

Velaris SpA, in Chile. To reach us about any of this, write to francisco@velaris.travel.

What we collect

What you type into the form: your name, your email, your organization if you give it, how many trips you have organized, the regions you picked, and the details of a trip if you told us about one. The page also counts visits on its own, which is a separate thing and is explained further down.

What we use it for

To reply to you, to send you the manual and the updates that follow it, and to organize the trip with you if you declared one. Nothing else.

Why we are allowed to

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. That is the only basis we rely on, and you can take it back at any time.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. Ask and we delete it, no questions.

Who else sees it

What you send in the form stays with Velaris. We use service providers to store it and to send the email, under contract and only for that. Nobody buys it, and nobody gets it to sell you something.

How we count visits

Separately from the form, every page on velaris.travel uses Google Analytics to count visits and tell us which channel brought you. It works through a cookie in your browser, so Google receives your IP address and how you moved through the page. It is not linked to what you send in the form: we never upload your answers to it. If you would rather not be counted, your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker stops it, and nothing on this page stops working.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, deletion, or to withdraw your consent. Write to francisco@velaris.travel and we handle it.
